2015-2018 Overall Design Refresh (Above)
I am currently the Design Technology Lead for Participedia. The Design Technology team was founded in 2015 by Amber Frid-Jimenez, founder of the Studio for Extensive Aesthetics︎︎︎ at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.

My team is responsible for maintaining and developing Participedia’s online platform, open source codebase and technical documentation. We use participatory design methods informed by feminist HCI theory to engage with collaborators in the network and leverage the Participedia platform and data toward project goals. In my role as lead designer, I am responsible for web design specifications, user testing and reporting, and coordination of technical implementation and team workflows.

Equity, diversity and inclusion are core values of the Participedia design and technology team and design practice, and we intentionally create opportunities for women and LGBTQ+, who are underrepresented in the tech industry at large.
